Plymouth, NH | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | $60,000-$70,000 based on experience, qualifications and licensure

Mount Prospect Academy (MPA) is seeking an experienced and compassionate School Social Worker to join our dedicated team in Plymouth, NH. As a School Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with educators, clinicians, families, and community partners to help students achieve success both academically and personally. This role is ideal for a licensed mental health professional who thrives in a trauma-informed environment and is committed to supporting youth through positive growth and development.

• Provide individual and group counseling services to adolescents.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to support student progress and counseling goals.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment, support, and crisis plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and provide behavioral health support.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with students and families.
• Facilitate treatment team meetings and coordinate care with stakeholders.
• Support trauma-informed practices throughout the academic setting.
• Conduct safety assessments and crisis intervention when necessary.
• Partner with families, schools, and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
• Maintain accurate case documentation, service logs, and student records.
• Deliver professional development and trauma-informed training to staff.
• Participate in student-focused meetings and collaborate with administration.

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• NH Department of Education Certification in School Social Work.
• Licensed, or actively pursuing licensure, through the NH Board of Mental Health Practice and NH DOE.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience counseling adolescents and families.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

• Experience working in special education, therapeutic schools, residential treatment, or behavioral health settings.
• Crisis intervention and assessment experience.
