We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a well-established housing organisation delivering supported housing and community services in Plymouth.

This is an opportunity to use your trade skills in a meaningful way, helping to create safe, welcoming and comfortable living environments for vulnerable individuals.

The Role

You will carry out planned painting and decorating works across residential and supported housing properties, ensuring high standards of finish and compliance with maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete painting and decorating tasks in line with planned works programmes

• Prepare surfaces including cleaning, sanding and priming

• Apply paint, varnish and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques

• Maintain high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail

• Work safely and in accordance with health & safety regulations

• Conduct works in occupied properties with professionalism and respect

About You

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator

• Strong understanding of painting techniques, materials and preparation methods

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Full UK driving licence
