Painter & Decorator

We are looking for a Painter and Decorator to join our team, taking responsibility for delivering high‑quality decorating works across a range of sites across the Plymouth area.

• Prepare and paint surfaces to a consistently high standard
• Apply paints, coatings and finishes to internal and external surfaces
• Carry out surface preparation including sanding, filling and priming
• Apply specialist finishes such as stains and varnishes where required
• (Desirable) Hang a variety of wall coverings
• Work collaboratively across a range of projects to meet programme deadlines
• Monitor decorating materials and request stock as required
• Ensure works are delivered within agreed budgets
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping on site
• Comply with all health and safety requirements at all times

• NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Painting & Decorating
• Good all‑round knowledge of decorating techniques and materials
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A customer‑focused approach when working in occupied environments
• Full UK Driving Licence

• £34,000 - £38,000 depending upon experience
