Job Overview

The Lanes Group are the UK’s largest independent provider of water and wastewater solutions and services, playing a vital role in maintaining the seamless operations of the nation’s water systems.

• Hours:
  
  Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (weekend work as and when needed)
• Salary: up to £15 per hour dependent on experience

You will be part of a two-person team operating high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units. Work projects will include any drainage related issues, including blockage clearance, pipe cleansing programmes and emergency reactive works.

Although you start at the depot, you will be mobile attending to all work activities within various work sectors – industrial, rail, utility, commercial, residential – travelling in your vehicle and covering jobs throughout the region.

Operate jetting equipment and vacuumation units to clear blockages and conduct pipe cleansing programmes.

Respond to emergency reactive works across industrial, rail, utility, commercial and residential sectors.

Travel within the region as required and ensure timely completion of jobs.

• HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points ideally
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
• Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry
• Physical fitness and lots of energy
• An up-to-date CSCS would be advantageous, but could be obtained if necessary
