Electrician

Electrician – Plymouth

£19-£24 per hour.

We're looking for experienced Electricians to join a busy industrial site in Plymouth, carrying out maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and installations on a range of plant equipment and electrical systems.

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Fault finding on motors, drives, pumps, conveyors, and control panels.
• Installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Electrical inspections and testing.
• Supporting plant upgrades and improvement projects.
• Working safely and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Industrial, manufacturing, heavy plant, quarrying, or mining experience.
• Strong fault-finding skills on three-phase systems and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Inspection & Testing (2391) desirable.
• Drug and alcohol screening required.
• Shift pattern: 5 on, 5 off, 12 hour days.
• Own reliable transport due to site location.
• Salary dependent on experience.
