Overview

Denholm Industrial Services is currently recruiting Part 2 Scaffolders and Advanced Scaffolders for ongoing work on major marine and defence projects in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a leading industrial services provider, supporting high-profile projects within the defence sector. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious scaffolders who are committed to delivering work to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently.
• Work in accordance with design drawings and site specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Carry out inspections of scaffolding where appropriate.
• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver projects safely and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Attend daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Report any defects, hazards or safety concerns immediately.

What We're Looking For

Part 2 Scaffolder

• CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder Card.
• BPSS Clearance or current SC Clearance.
• Experience working on industrial, marine or defence projects is desirable.
• Strong commitment to safe working practices.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Advanced Scaffolder

• CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card.
• BPSS Clearance or current SC Clearance.
• Experience on large industrial or marine projects.
• Ability to work independently and lead scaffold teams where required.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

Pay Rates

Part 2 Scaffolder

• Basic: 20.54 per hour
• Weekday OT1: 26.70 per hour
• Weekday OT2: 32.86 per hour

Advanced Scaffolder

• Basic: 23.85 per hour
• Weekday OT1: 26.70 per hour
• Weekday OT2: 38.16 per hour
