Fire & Security Engineer – Plymouth- £17.50–£18.50 per hour (£36,500–£38,500 starting salary)

Fire & Security Engineer Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join an established team covering Plymouth and the wider South West.

This is a predominantly fire focused role, making it ideal for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer who is interested in developing their skills across security systems.

Fire & Security Engineer Role & Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair a range of Fire alarm systems, Intruder alarms, CCTV & Access control
  • Carry out approximately 80% fire and 20% security systems work.
  • Work across a variety of commercial and industrial premises.
  • Cover the South West region, with the majority of work based in Plymouth and some in Exeter.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Fire & Security Engineer

Skills and Experience:
  • Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to cross train into security systems if required.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong fault finding and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
