Senior Quality Engineer

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities- Develop and execute quality strategies across multiple sites aligned with business goals
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, waste reduction, and operational efficiency
- Monitor and report key quality metrics and performance indicators
- Serve as the primary contact for customer, supplier, and regulatory quality matters
- Manage calibration systems, quality documentation, audits, and corrective/preventive actions
- Oversee supplier quality programs and ensure compliance with product specifications and standards
- Perform product evaluations, metallurgical testing, and quality analysis using established procedures
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support quality throughout the product lifecycle
- Support new product development, validation activities, and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor and train quality personnel while driving data‑based solutions to improve product performance and customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, continuous improvement, or manufacturing operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
- Experience using measurement equipment, testing devices, and quality inspection tools
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), process capability (Cp/Cpk), standard deviation, and quality analysis methods
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25%, including domestic plant and supplier visits and occasional international travel to China to support global quality initiatives
