Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Project Manager – KWiFi Program to join our team and play a critical role in coordinating and executing the end‑to‑end rollout of our satellite‑based Community Broadband WiFi initiatives across underserved rural areas in Africa. In this position, you’ll work closely with the Program Director – KWiFi, as well as cross‑functional teams (Sales, NOC, Logistics, Finance, Regulatory, Product) and external partners, contributing directly to the successful deployment and scaling of the program.

Support the overall structuring, planning, and execution of the KWiFi rollout roadmap.
Track and coordinate deployment activities in collaboration with regional partners, suppliers, and integrators.
Prepare and maintain live tracking tools (dashboard, KPIs, rollout plans).
Identify risks and bottlenecks; propose and follow up mitigation plans.
Partner & Internal CoordinationEnsure alignment between technical, commercial, supply chain, regulatory, and field teams.
Liaise with key external partners, including:
- Our distributors operating under the retail business model, who handle village‑level deployment and customer engagement.
- Telecom operators (e.g., Orange), integrating KWiFi into their service offering or distribution networks.
- Power Cos (such as EDF), who are adding connectivity to their off‑grid energy infrastructures in rural areas.
Work in close collaboration with our local and Paris‑based commercial teams for Africa to ensure alignment on rollout priorities, partner engagement, and field support.
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, NOC, Logistics, Finance, Regulatory, Product) to ensure timely delivery and activation.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting- Consolidate inputs from BIP, Indio, and field reports to build performance reviews and suggest operational improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and stakeholders.
- Prepare regular progress updates for internal management and external sponsors (e.g., EIB, IFC, government stakeholders).
Formalize escalation procedures (L1–L3), coordinate with NOC and external vendors:
L1:
Local support by partner/installer
L2:
Assistance to partners in using our monitoring tools (BIP/Indio) and resolving issues, with escalation to the Eutelsat technical team if needed.
L3:
Escalation to suppliers (HNS for modem, Cambium for WiFi AP, Rhema Logistics or Clear Blue for solar kits).
Support training and onboarding of local installation teams and partners.
Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of internal processes (PoC management, SLA tracking, partner onboarding).
Collaborate with relevant teams on the automation of reporting integrating BIP with Indio data.
What You’ll Need- 5+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally in telecom, infrastructure deployment, rural development, or connectivity.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage complexity and push forward execution.
- Good understanding of connectivity ecosystems and/or satellite and WiFi‑based infrastructure.
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written); other languages a plus.
- Proven capacity to work across functions and geographies.
- Experience in Africa or with public‑private projects is a strong advantage.
- PMP or Prince2 certification appreciated.
