Role Overview

As a Product manager in Netflix's Consumer Product Innovation group, you will be instrumental in introducing new ad formats and privacy controls, building product roadmaps, and delivering high‑impact solutions that engage consumers and advertisers.

Responsibilities
  • Build a roadmap and take product ideas through validation, delivery, measurement, and new releases.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product design, data science, buyer insights) to deliver products to our customers.
  • Create business cases and assess the impact of product innovations.
  • Deeply understand and socialize evolving customer needs with insight and design partners.
  • Design, strategize, execute, and prioritize projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams and build consensus while navigating ambiguity.
Product Manager – Ad Formats & Privacy Controls
  • Own product strategy for video‑centric ad structures and privacy controls.
  • Develop, launch, and optimize ad codecs that balance consumer attention, advertiser outcomes, and member engagement.
  • Manage trade‑offs between commercial, consumer, and advertiser concerns.
  • Serve as end‑to‑end product owner from inception through launch.
  • Track, measure, and drive performance using key metrics and host experiments.
  • Collaborate closely with data science, UX research, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Experience:

    6‑8+ years product management with deep knowledge of advertising and privacy.
Ad Codecs & Privacy Controls Lead
  • Supply roadmap and execute on next‑generation ad codecs and consumer‑facing privacy controls.
  • Drive rapid experimentation and partner with data science and insight teams to surface quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Collaborate with ad sales, engineering, design, and other product teams.
  • Build deep consumer empathy to identify and prioritize product opportunities.
Location & Compensation

Based in our Los Angeles or Los Gatos office or in a remote‑primarily location on the West Coast/Pacific Time Zone; travel may be required.

Compensation range broadly from $80,000 to $700,000 annually, depending on location and total compensation package.
