Part-Time Special Education Teacher

Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain an Idaho Education Credential endorsed in area of application. The candidate needs a current Idaho Certification. Familiarity with the IC&S and how that drives curriculum in the classroom is required. Knowledge of implementing Differentiated Instruction is essential. A strong work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative setting with stakeholders, community, staff, students, parents, and administration is a must.

The candidate must provide evidence of strong classroom skills and student behavior management as well as a desire to meet the academic and behavior needs of all students. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work creatively with others. The candidate must love working with children.

• Has knowledge of grade level standards and assessments.
• Works as a team player and collaborates regularly with colleagues to enhance student achievement.
• Is flexible and willing to explore and implement new strategies.
• Has a wide repertoire of discipline strategies and implements those effectively in the classroom.
