Placement on the District teacher salary schedule based on education and experience. Salary schedule located 5.us.
Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain an Idaho Education Credential endorsed in the area of application. The candidate needs a current Idaho Certification. Familiarity with the Idaho Common Standards and how that drives curriculum in the classroom is required. Knowledge of implementing Differentiated Instruction is essential. A strong work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative setting with stakeholders, community, staff, students, parents, and administration is a must.
The candidate must provide evidence of strong classroom skills and student behavior management as well as a desire to meet the academic and behavior needs of all students. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work creatively with others. The candidate must love working with children.
The successful candidate for this position:

- Is flexible and willing to explore and implement new strategies.
- Has a wide repertoire of discipline strategies and implements those effectively in the classroom.

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employee's Retirement System is available to Certificated employees with a contract of .50 FTE or greater.
