Placement on the District teacher salary schedule based on education and experience.
Job Qualifications:
Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing needed to develop and implement instructional curriculum for students K-12 with Deaf/Hard of Hearing difficulties. Teacher will work directly with students delivering direct instruction using a variety of communication and hard of hearing access models. Proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language) is critical. Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain an Idaho Education Credential endorsed in area of application.
Applicants must be Highly Qualified under State and Federal regulations. District is seeking certified Teacher of the Deaf to assist in the development of IEP's pertinent to students with hearing impairments. Teacher will be directly responsible for supervising deaf education interpreters.

Idaho Education Teaching Credential endorsed in area of application. Three current letters of recommendation (letters must be signed and current within three years).
