Ameri Corps in Idaho is seeking a Youth Mentor to support Gem State Public Health initiatives. You will conduct needs assessments, recruit partnerships, and coordinate trainings to expand suicide prevention resources at the community level.
You will engage youth with mental health focused activities, support learning during school hours or after school, and help connect youth to local wellness resources like 988 and Teen Hope programs. Training in ASIST/SOS may be provided.
