* EMCOR Government Services (EGS) is seeking a Safety and Environment Officer (Data Center) to support contract operations for a mission‑critical Intelligence Community customer in
** Pocatello, Idaho. The Safety and Environmental Officer ensures the data center operates in full compliance*
* ** with health, safety, and environmental regulations. This role develops safety programs,*
* ** conducts training, manages audits, and leads initiatives to reduce environmental impact*
* ** and operational risk.*

Duties & Responsibilities *
* + Develop and implement safety programs, emergency response plans, and environmental compliance strategies.

+ Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, local regulations, and corporate safety standards.

+ Lead incident investigations and manage corrective action plans.

+ Deliver safety training for sta and contractors, including electrical safety, confined space, and hazard communication.

+ Monitor environmental metrics such as energy usage, emissions, and waste management.

+ Maintain documentation for regulatory reporting and internal compliance.

** Qualifications*

** Must possess a Top-Secret Clearance.*

** Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.*

** Five years of experience in safety and environmental compliance, preferably in*
* ** mission-critical or industrial environments.*
* +  
** Certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or OSHA 30/50 preferred.*

** Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices*
