Supporting superiors to provide design draft and material take off draft.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare earthwork designs, including cut & fill plans, grading, haul roads, platforms, diversions, and site infrastructure layouts.
  • Produce earthwork drawings, cross-sections, profiles, and quantity calculations in accordance with project requirements.
  • Conduct terrain analysis and optimize earthwork balance to achieve safe and cost-effective construction execution.
  • Coordinate with Mining, Civil, Geotechnical, Survey, and Construction teams to ensure design alignment and constructability.
  • Review topographic survey data and incorporate field conditions into design development.
  • Support construction activities by providing design revisions, technical clarifications, and as-built updates when required.

Monitor compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and safety requirements.

Assist in planning temporary works related to earthworks, access roads, drainage systems, and construction platforms.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in earthwork design, mine infrastructure, civil works, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Civil 3D, Minescape, Vulcan, or other relevant earthwork design software.
  • Strong understanding of grading design, cut & fill optimization, quantity calculations, drainage, and road design.
  • Experience in mining, EPC, infrastructure, or heavy civil construction projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical constraints and construction methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willing to work on a roster-based site assignment.
