Personal Banker

About the Role

As a Personal Banker, you will deliver an exceptional client experience by adhering to our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.

• Acquire new and expand existing relationships with clients by asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring clients to the appropriate business partners within the bank.
• Uncover and originate consumer lending opportunities.
• Provide excellent client service by promptly acknowledging inquiries, identifying needs, offering appropriate products, and responding in a timely manner.
• Engage clients and prospects in client financial reviews and business financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover additional financial needs.
• Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients.
• Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients, consistently providing proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
• Open consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Act as a resource to Client Service Specialists by contributing to the team environment and filling in on teller functions (including cash transactions) when needed.
• Support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to the appropriate internal business partners.
• Resolve client issues and requests, exhibiting strong follow-through.
• Build familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities.

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 1 year of teller or other banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services offered.
• Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
• Proficiency in expanding client relationships with an emphasis on creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships.
• Desired ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) license (preferred).

Pay range: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour. Pay rate depends on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
