Job Title
Coaches team to reach department and Credit Union goals. Effectively manages and completes special projects. Ensures member satisfaction through courteous, accurate, and efficient service.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist with management of daily Deposit Services functions including transaction posting, balancing, file maintenance while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Assist with overseeing the servicing of Idaho Central Credit Union deposit products including IRA/HSA processing, ACH processing, check processing, mobile deposit processing, wires transfers, cash ordering etc.
- Maintain a strong, current understanding and ensure regulatory compliance regarding the payments industry, ACH and check regulations, Reg E etc.
- Analyze business needs and develop efficient processes to support Idaho Central Credit Union's growth.
- Provide direction and implement solutions in response to current and future fraud trends to mitigate potential loss to Credit Union and manage resource workload.
- Coach and measure team effectiveness along with projecting resource management to reach goals and objectives of the department and Credit Union
- Effectively hire, train and coach team and complete annual performance appraisals and team member Strength Development Plan's.
- Assist with managing projects to implement system and process changes.
- Ensure member satisfaction through courteous, accurate, and efficient service.
- Work to continuously improve team's service level to members
- Assist Deposit Services Manager with vendor management related to processing functions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years managerial or financial experience preferred. Ability to work with other managers in Operations to reach department goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capable of maintaining the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.
Performance Standard:Manage the Deposit Services team while maintaining a positive environment. A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Dedicated to serving our internal members and holding team accountable for the Credit Union's service standard. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.
Physical Requirements:- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
- Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
- Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
