Physical Therapist - Part Time

The Neuro Medical Center  Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist to work in the inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The physical therapist must be able to effectively complete comprehensive evaluations, establish treatment plans of care, and provide appropriate physical therapy treatments to patients with various neurological diagnoses and impairments. The focus of physical therapy in inpatient rehabilitation is to maximize each patient's recovery and level of functional ability, including but not limited to neuromuscular recovery (through neuro-rehabilitation) and improvement of functional mobility skills (bed mobility, transfers, ambulation, wheelchair mobility, etc.),

including the use of assistive devices as needed.

This position also requires effective communication skills to ensure continuity of care between therapists and treatment sessions, educate and train caregivers, and collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team for each patient's care.

• Must be a Physical Therapist with a current Louisiana license.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• One year or more of experience.
