Shift: 9:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.
Pay: $18.00 – $24.10 per hour (incl. $1.50 shift differential)

Perform standard cleaning procedures on food processing equipment and utensils, and maintain building interiors and exteriors per food manufacturing standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform standard cleaning procedures as documented and trained for equipment and facilities, including disassembly/assembly, application of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, scrubbing, rinsing, and mixing cleaning agents.
- Use personal protective equipment as required for each cleaning task.
- Exercise caution and follow correct handling procedures.
- Understand safe operation of equipment, including safety devices and guards.
- Follow lockout/tag‑out and safety procedures for each piece of equipment.
- Understand correct labeling of chemicals and containers.
- Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and complete required paperwork for daily and Master Sanitation programs.
- Collect and remove trash from production and packaging lines, kitchen, and warehouse areas; dispose in outside trash dumpsters.
- Collect recycle materials and dispose in recycle bins.
- Notify the Sanitation Team Leader or on‑duty mechanic of any malfunctioning equipment immediately.
- Inspect each cleaning job upon completion to ensure correct execution, and correct any substandard conditions.
- Comply with Amy’s Kitchen Inc. employee handbook, safety manual, and GMP booklet.
- Be certified to operate a forklift and scissors lift.
- Monitor water usage.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

REASONING ABILITYApply common sense to carry out simple one‑ or two‑step instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSFrequent walking on wet floors, stair and ladder use, handling HP hoses, cleaning chemicals, and working in wet, warm environments. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment such as foamers, Rubbermaid carts, depositors, pumps, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
WORK ENVIRONMENTExposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, strong cleaning chemicals, required PPE under hot, cold, or humid conditions. Loud noise from tray washer, fan, steam. Ability to perform all job functions in these conditions.
