PRN Operating Room Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Pocatello, Idaho

About Your Work:

• Serve as first or second assist on surgical cases for a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, bariatric and other subspecialties as needed.
• Perform intraoperative technical skills such as suturing, wound closure, and tissue handling.
• Participate in surgical rounding, documenting and communicating with patient progress.
• Work closely with surgeons, residents, nursing staff, anesthesiologists and other team members.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Excellent support staff.
• Epic EMR.

• Minimum 2 years' surgical experience required.
