About Your Work:
- Serve as first or second assist on surgical cases for a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, bariatric and other subspecialties as needed.
- Perform intraoperative technical skills such as suturing, wound closure, and tissue handling.
- Participate in surgical rounding, documenting and communicating with patient progress.
- Work closely with surgeons, residents, nursing staff, anesthesiologists and other team members.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Excellent support staff.
- Epic EMR.
- Minimum 2 years' surgical experience required.
