Neurologist (Physician) – Southeast Idaho (Pocatello)

Position Overview:

• Full‑time, employed position within an established multi‑specialty group.
• Outpatient‑only or outpatient/in‑patient mix available.
• No call.
• Support services available on‑site: PM&R, neurosurgery, outpatient infusion, interventional radiology, critical care, fully staffed ICU/Hospitalist services.
• Teaching opportunity with medical students and family medicine residents.
• EMR:
  Epic.

Job Summary:

• Friendly and compassionate NP/PA to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non‑pharmacologic interventions.
• Conduct regular follow‑up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize patient care delivery.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions.

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long‑term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician license.
• DEA license.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• A year of experience in Neurology.
• Preferred experience in documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided.
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6‑8 hours per day.

• Competitive salary per annum: $60,000 – $90,000.
