Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse CVOR supports surgical services by circulating during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures. This role ensures safe, efficient perioperative care in the CVOR across a variety of complex cases.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate during CABG, AVR, MVR, Bentall, TAVR, and lung procedures (open and robotic).
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and perioperative environment throughout each case.
• Assist with Fem-Pop procedures, fistula creation, and other CV and thoracic surgical cases.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and support case flow.
• Document perioperative nursing activities and patient care according to policy.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ACLS certification.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Possess active RN licensure with applicable state/compact eligibility as required.
• Demonstrate strong CVOR circulating experience with complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in perioperative safety practices and sterile technique.
• Complete onboarding requirements and required modules within designated time frames.
