Position OverviewWe are seeking a per-diem Registered Nurse to join the team at Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center. The RN will provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients and work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Responsibilities• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
Qualifications- Idaho RN license or ability to obtain license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Corrections experience not required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
