American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry position at a comprehensive stroke center and Level II Trauma facility, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

• 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry unit
• Typical patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4
• Facility is a comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, and Chest Pain Accredited facility with capabilities for complex PCI and open-heart surgery patient care
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour nights (18:45–07:15)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

• Active Idaho or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Skills required include: IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central line care and management, peripheral line care and management, cardiac monitoring and emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, non-invasive airway management, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted — individual applicants only
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• RTO of no more than 3 days will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Orientation modules are completed onsite and average 4–6 hours for RNs
