Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night 3x12-Hour Shift (18:45 - 07:15)
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of nursing experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients who require close monitoring and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor patient reactions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips as per established protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Document all patient care and interventions accurately.
- Assist with emergent procedures such as cardioversion and central line placement.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a progressive care or telemetry setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Must hold a valid RN license.
- Charge experience preferred, with understanding of patient ratios and staffing needs.
