Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule:

Nights, 3x12-hour shifts - Weekend requirement: approximately 2 shifts per pay period

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience preferred
• State or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Required certification: BLS
• Experience with Epic charting system is required
• Prior travel experience is preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients in a medical/surgical unit.
• Monitor and manage patients with varying diagnoses, including but not limited to sepsis, respiratory failure/COPD, and post-operative care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient information accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours
• Floating to other units may be required if competencies are met
• Requested time off must be listed at time of submittal
• Core onboarding items must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
