Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
Schedule
3x12-hour night shifts; weekend coverage required.
Assignment Details
Travel assignment with a daily census of 48 patients in a 48-bed unit.
Requirements
- Active RN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- 2 years of RN experience preferred.
- Travel experience required.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Experience with trauma care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
- Monitor patients and assess their needs, including critical care support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in emergency response and rapid response situations.
Compliance / Notes
Orientation lasts 24 hours; pre-approved time off allowed per contract.
