Operations Coordinator - Full Time Salaried Exempt | Operations
Location: Victor,
Reports to: Logistics Manager
At New West Knife Works, the importance of detailed precision is paramount to the success of our business. The Operations Coordinator is a key member of the Operations team who coordinates various aspects of our product lifecycle, including custom & 3rd party goods onboarding, inventory management, fulfillment and execution of outside sales.

- Work with Logistics Manager to optimize and audit order fulfillment systems, providing updates and corrections as necessary.
- Work with Retail and Fulfillment Manager to accurately allocate inventory and order fulfillment between 7 retail locations.
- Manage existing and develop new systems in Shopify (such as Shopify views, Inventory reports, and SOPs) to increase accuracy and efficiency for retail staff.
- Collaborate with Finance to develop and implement new systems for inventory control.
- Fulfill online orders and intercompany transfers on a need basis.
- Work with Production Management, Lead Buyer, and Marketing to manage the eComm onboarding process of Custom products and 3rd party goods.
- Receive and post 3rd party and custom goods to NWKW’s inventory systems and eComm platform.
- Receive Purchase Orders, manage inventory requests, and coordinate distribution of 3rd party items to 7 retail locations.
- Manage custom photo processes and logistics for custom goods and 3rd party inventory, including taking of photos.
- Work with Marketing Coordinator to edit product and product categories when necessary.
- Archive custom and 3rd party Out Of Stock product from eComm platforms.
- Improve online store inventory accuracy and physical on-hand inventory via iterative improvements to systems.
- Coordinate with Outside Sales on process, people and communication to complete outside sales and online engraving orders.
- Use project management tools to coordinate engravings deliverables.
- Manage time and capacity restrictions of the laser engraver with the demands of clients and client reps.
- Edit custom logos within Canva and Adobe.
- Generate digital engraving mockups within Canva.
- Improve the current lasering process efficiency to better accommodate client requests and website engraving tool.
- Manage fulfillment of online engraving orders.
- $60,000 annual salary
