Experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter, Pocatello
- 3+ years of experience in the fire sprinkler trade
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
- Physically capable of performing demanding field work, including lifting up to 70 lbs
Preferred:
- Completion of a fire sprinkler apprenticeship program
- Familiarity with MSHA, OSHA, and fire/building codes
- State‑specific licensing or ability to obtain
- Basic computer literacy for using field apps and timesheets
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs
- Work in confined spaces or at heights
- Safely lift, carry, and place heavy tools and materials
- Use power tools such as pipe cutters, saws, drills, and threaders
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

State Fire is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our Boise‑based team. In this role, you’ll install, service, and maintain fire sprinkler systems at commercial and industrial sites across the region. What You’ll Do- Install and repair fire sprinkler systems, including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre‑action, and deluge systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and specifications
- Layout piping, hang supports, and join piping systems using appropriate tools and techniques
- Collaborate with job site foremen, trades, and general contractors
- Travel regionally for projects, with overnight stays as needed
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and OSHA regulations
