We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Leadman to lead scaffold crews on industrial construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity who can effectively supervise crews while ensuring scaffolding is erected and dismantled in accordance with all applicable standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise scaffold crews on industrial and commercial job sites.
  • Read and interpret scaffold drawings and project specifications.
  • Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure scaffolds are erected, modified, and dismantled safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and job hazard assessments.
  • Inspect scaffolding for compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Train and mentor scaffold builders and helpers.
  • Coordinate with project management, clients, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
  • Complete required documentation including inspections, timekeeping, and daily reports.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of scaffold construction experience.
  • Previous experience leading scaffold crews required.
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA scaffold regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to read scaffold drawings and work plans.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as project needs require.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Scaffold Competent Person certification is preferred.
