Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Pocatello, this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of critical shop equipment, fleet vehicles, and facility systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in heavy machinery, overhead cranes, and industrial electrical systems (up to 480V 3-phase).
Key Responsibilities & Tasks- Fleet & Equipment Maintenance:
Service and repair forklifts, shop trucks, and stationary shop equipment to maximize uptime. - Lifting & Crane Systems:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair overhead cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment. - Small Tool Care:
Inspect and maintain small tools, power cords, pneumatic hoses, grinders, and welding units to ensure safe operation. - Inventory Control:
Monitor, log, and manage inventory levels in the tool room, tracking welding consumables and spare parts. - Electrical Troubleshooting:
Safely diagnose and repair high/low voltage systems (480V 3-Phase, 220V, 120V) as well as DC control circuits. - Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA regulations.
- Experience:
3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy shop maintenance preferred. - Electrical
Skills:
Proven competency with 480V 3-Phase, 220V, 120V, and basic DC electrical systems. - Required Personal Tools:
Candidates must possess and utilize a variety of personal hand tools, including complete socket sets, screwdrivers, wrenches, and meters. - Certifications:
Forklift operation or crane inspection certifications are a plus. - Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and comfortably work at heights or in tight spaces.
- Pay Rate: $25 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
