In this energetic role, you'll assist skilled plumbers in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various construction sites. Duties
- Support lead plumbers in installing and assembling plumbing systems according to blueprints and schematics
- Assist with pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and pipe installation using hand tools and power tools
- Help maintain and repair plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety protocols
- Carry out basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure accurate installation
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment for efficient workflow
- Follow safety procedures diligently while working with power tools, welding equipment, and on construction sites
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to assist in the proper assembly of plumbing components
- Support the team during remodeling projects or maintenance tasks involving HVAC or carpentry elements
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials
Experience
- Prior construction experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation, and building codes is advantageous
Experience with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding, or HVAC systems is a plus - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude combined with good problem-solving skills for troubleshooting plumbing issues
- Strong attention to safety protocols related to power tool safety, field service operations, and site hazard awareness
- Customer service orientation when interacting with clients or team members on-site
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during installations or repairs

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
