Clerk – Point Borough

Position: Clerk 1 – Point Pleasant Beach Borough.
The Borough is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Clerk 1 in the Municipal Clerk’s/Registrar’s Office. Salary Range: $35,000.00-$45,000.00. HOURS:

35 hours/week, Mon-Fri. DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Municipal Clerk/Registrar, in a confidential office, will perform various work, primarily the processing of Open Public Records Act (OPRA) requests and record maintenance/retrieval/ sorting/destruction. Other duties as needed. Possibility for additional training and advancement. KNOWLEDGE & ABILITES:
Ideal candidate has knowledge of/experience with OPRA and NJ Records Management regulations, Gov Pilot Government Management Software and Artemis Records Retention & Disposition Management System. Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, customer service, organizational, clerical & computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications and PDF software, as well as the ability to work effectively with vendors, associates, and officials is required.
