About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Energy Trader to join their trading desk in Polokwane. This role requires a deep understanding of global energy commodity markets, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to make profitable trading decisions. You will be responsible for executing trades, managing risk, and developing innovative strategies to capitalize on market volatility and opportunities in electricity, natural gas, and other energy-related commodities.

• Execute trading strategies for energy commodities, including electricity, natural gas, and oil, to maximize profitability.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in energy trading or commodity trading.
• Proven track record of successful trading performance and risk management.
