- A National Senior Certificate / equivalent plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF level
7) in Geographic Information System (GIS) / Geomatics/ Geo Informatics / Geography or equivalent qualification in the relevant field / area as recognized by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA). Registration with South African Geomatics Council (SAGC) / PLATO as a GISc Professional. - Grade A (0-2 years appropriate experience),
- Grade B (14 years appropriate experience) and
- Grade C (26 years appropriate experience) in an area after registration with SAGC / PLATO as a Professional.
- A valid driver’s license except for people with disability.
