About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Appliance Repair Specialist to join their team in Polokwane . This role is crucial for servicing and maintaining a wide range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration appliances for businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and catering services. You will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying technical issues to minimize operational disruption for clients. The ideal candidate is a skilled technician with a strong mechanical and electrical background, dedicated to providing efficient and reliable repair services across Limpopo .
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various commercial appliances, including ovens, ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers, and ice machines.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on commercial equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Source and replace faulty parts, ensuring compatibility and quality.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations during repair and maintenance operations.
- Maintain detailed service reports, including parts used, labor hours, and recommendations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients regarding repairs.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Appliance Repair technician or in a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and gas systems in commercial appliances.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and relevant hand and power tools.
- Valid South African driver's license and a reliable vehicle for client visits in Polokwane .
