Aircraft Interior Systems Technician

Our client, a specialist aviation services company located near Polokwane , is seeking a skilled Aircraft Interior Systems Technician . This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex cabin interiors and associated systems, including in-flight entertainment (IFE), lighting, galleys, lavatories, and seating. You will play a key part in ensuring passenger comfort, safety, and the aesthetic integrity of aircraft cabins.

This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and expertise in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems within an aircraft environment.

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft cabin interior components and systems (e.g., IFE, lighting, seating, galleys, lavatories).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults within cabin systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings related to aircraft interiors.
• Perform modifications and upgrades to cabin systems according to approved technical data.
• Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and compliance with aviation regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance teams and project managers to meet project timelines.

• Relevant trade qualification or certification in Avionics, Electrical Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in aircraft interior systems maintenance or installation.
• Proficiency in working with electrical wiring, connectors, and electronic components.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing IFE systems, cabin lighting, and power distribution.
• Ability to read and understand aircraft maintenance manuals and electrical schematics.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
