Overview
The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include: setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assisting the surgeon as necessary, assisting the circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, and maintaining familiarity with, function, and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The Surgical Technician initiates responsibility for care of specimens and performs other related duties as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesProvide sterile field setup and maintenance; assist the surgeon and circulating nurse; manage and care for all operating room equipment and instruments; handle specimens as assigned; perform related duties as directed by the surgical team.
Required Qualifications- Coursework/Training - graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program.
- National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year - Operating Room experience
- GI endoscopy experience

The base pay range is listed; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
