We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. The ideal candidate has good communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests
• Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct
• Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
• Mitigate customer complaints as needed
• Welcome, register, check in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
• Other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
• Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
• Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
• Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
• High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
• 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be able to work unsupervised and stay on task
• Must possess a strong work ethic, can stay organized, and have good time management Compensation: $13.75 - $15.75 hourly
