A large healthcare client of ours is relocating an ambulatory clinic from its existing hospital space into a new standalone facility in Polson, Montana. This is a planned technology deployment with approved capital funding, a defined implementation timeline, and all endpoint hardware already procured and pre-imaged. The deployment will be completed ahead of the clinic's October 5 opening, allowing caregivers several weeks to become familiar with the new environment before go-live.
Job Description:Medasource is seeking four Deployment Technicians to support the technology deployment for a new ambulatory clinic. This is a hands-on deployment role responsible for unboxing, staging, installing, and disposing of IT equipment while ensuring all workstations are deployment-ready.
Responsibilities include:- Unbox, inventory, and stage IT equipment for deployment.
- Deploy 58 desktop PCs and 11 pre-imaged laptops.
- Install and configure 122 monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals.
- Set up Medical Assistant and Provider workstations, including monitor arms and laptop docking solutions.
- Install equipment across registration desks, exam rooms, and clinical work spaces.
- Perform cable management and verify workstation functionality.
- Support deployment of wall-mounted devices where mounting hardware has already been installed.
- Remove packaging materials and dispose of retired equipment according to project guidelines.
- Assist with testing and final deployment readiness activities.
- Experience with desktop deployments, hardware refreshes, or IT field services.
- Experience unboxing, staging, deploying, and disposing of IT equipment.
- Ability to install desktop workstations, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
- Strong attention to detail and cable management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite for the full project duration.
- Experience supporting clinic openings, office relocations, or technology refresh projects.
- Familiarity with workstation mounting hardware and ergonomic workstation setups.
- Experience supporting go-live activities.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Dell, Lenovo, HP, etc.) are a plus but not required.
