Travel: Temporary Assignment
This travel assignment seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to support an ambulatory care/outpatient family practice setting in Polson, MT. The role requires provision of direct patient care, participation in clinic workflows, and support of point-of-care testing, immunizations, and follow-up activities. The position follows a 5 days/week schedule with 8-hour shifts; a 4x10 option may be available. Typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.
Floats are expected within the unit as needed; on-call duties are not required. The patient record system is Epic. This temporary travel role has no guaranteed hours.

Epic - On-site compliance and pre-start requirements required prior to start
- Deliver direct patient care in an ambulatory care/outpatient family practice setting, including routine assessments, vitals, and wound care as needed
- Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture; label specimens and support specimen handling and point-of-care testing
- Administer immunizations and verify immunization status according to protocols
- Conduct medication reconciliation, monitor patient vitals, and assist with sterile technique for minor procedures
- Manage inbox messages, follow-up calls, and patient communications; document encounters in Epic; coordinate referrals and pharmacy communications
- Provide telephone triage and patient education; support refill requests and care coordination activities
- Maintain the 1:4 patient ratio, collaborate with the care team, and float to other units within the assignment as needed
- Active RN license (compact license accepted as applicable)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture, specimen labeling
- Experience with immunizations and immunization administration
- Ability to perform medication reconciliation, vitals, wound care, and sterile setup
- Strong communication skills for telephone triage and follow-up calls
- References: 2 required (covering 1 year within the last 3 years)
- Compliance: last 4 digits of SSN required at submittal; RTO requests must be listed at submittal; 50-mile local radius; pre-start modules required (average ~16 hours); travelers may be asked to float within the facility
