Overview
Registered Nurse – Perioperative (OR) in Polson, MT.
Start date:
07/20/2026. Travel assignment measured in weeks. Weekly pay: 2,121 to 2,305 per week. Guaranteed hours:
Not guaranteed. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting:
Hospital-based perioperative services including Pre-op, OR, PACU (Phase I & II), and Endoscopy at a small facility with 2 OR rooms and 22 staffed beds.

- Start date:
07/20/2026 - Setting:
Perioperative services across Pre-op, OR, PACU, Endoscopy in a 22-bed facility with two ORs
- Circulate in the OR and provide PACU care (Phase I & II) across Pre-op, OR, and Endoscopy; support intraoperative responsibilities as needed
- Monitor conscious sedation and assist with the administration of blood and blood products per protocol
- Starting peripheral IVs, specimen handling/labeling, and enforcing the universal protocol (time-out)
- Support ambulatory surgery procedures (general, orthopedics, OB/GYN including C-sections, ENT, GI, dental) and manage related perioperative tasks
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, interpreter services) to coordinate patient care
- Maintain continuity of care from Pre-op through discharge, documenting in the electronic medical record and ensuring patient safety
- Active RN license in Montana or a compact state
- Minimum 2 years RN experience, with proven perioperative work in a critical access hospital
- Epic charting experience
- Certifications:
ACLS and BLS; NIHSS as indicated - Ability to circulate C-sections and provide comprehensive perioperative care across Pre-op, OR, PACU, Endoscopy; willing to float within surgical services; on-call approximately 8 shifts per month with weekend rotation
- Education:
Completion of an approved RN program; local radius within 50 miles; pre-start training modules (~16 hours) and required compliance documents prior to start
