RN - Med Surg

The Registered Nurse provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. The RN is responsible for delivering coordinated, safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care while supporting patients and families through their healthcare journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong acute care nursing experience, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to Providence's mission of providing compassionate whole-person care.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure & Certifications

Active Montana Registered Nurse License
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) upon hire
ACLS Certification within 90 days of hire
PALS Certification within 90 days of hire

Experience

Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
Acute care nursing experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

National Certification in Nursing Specialty Area
Previous Med Surg experience
Acute care hospital experience
Strong patient assessment skills
Experience with evidence-based nursing practices
