Community Health Registered Nurse (North End) – Tribal Health Department

We are hiring a registered nurse for the Community Health Department. Candidates must meet the requirements for either Level 1 or Level 2 as described below.

• Level 1: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ASN required.
• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
• One year of nursing experience providing direct patient care.
• Experience using electronic health records (EPIC) and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers certification preferred, otherwise must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Montana Driver's License with ability to operate a vehicle.
• Existing or new National Provider Number.

• Level 2: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required.
• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
• One year of nursing experience providing direct patient care.
• Preferred at least one year of Home Health Nursing.
• Experience using electronic health records (EPIC) and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers certification preferred, otherwise must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Valid Montana Driver's License with ability to operate a vehicle.
• Existing or new National Provider Number.
• Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (AMB‑BC) or Home Health Nursing Certification (RN‑BC) preferred.

All applicants must submit a Tribal application and provide the following documents: copy of academic transcript/training certificates and licensure, copy of valid driver's license, proof of enrollment in a federally recognized Tribe (if not CSKT), and if claiming veterans preference, a copy of DD214.

This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under CSKT's Drug Testing policy and is subject to random drug testing. Successful applicants not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre‑hire drug test and serve a mandatory six‑month probationary period.

Salary is negotiable DOE, plus benefits. May be employed under contract.
