This is a travel nursing contract opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (LDRP) at a Critical Access hospital in Polson, MT. The position requires a seasoned traveler with recent, comprehensive experience across L&D, triage, and Postpartum care. Seasoned travelers only — this role is not appropriate for first-time travel nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Float between units per unit needs
- Provide nursing care across LDRP, including Labor and Delivery, triage, and Postpartum
- Maintain required patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, and 1:6 depending on assignment
- Participate in on-call coverage once per pay period (max PRN)
- Work every other weekend (typically)
- Must know L&D, triage, and Postpartum
- Ability to float between units per unit needs
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP experience required
- Seasoned travel nurse experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
