JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

• Oversee everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash handling, and customer relations.
• Set a positive example and ensure all policies and procedures are followed 100% of the time; expect the same from your crew.
• Manage staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, image and standards, customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

General Job Duties For All Store Team Members

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Training

• Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from cool to hot depending on area.
• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving parts.
• Delivery-related conditions such as driving in varying weather.

Sensing

• Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.
• Depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces; far and night vision for driving.

Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Standing – Most tasks are performed standing; work surfaces typically between 36" and 48" high.
• Walking – Short-distance walking; travel between store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
• Sitting – Paperwork performed in an office setting.
• Lifting – Deliveries and ingredients up to 50 pounds; cases stacked up to 72" high.
• Carrying – Carrying items such as cans and pizza products; some heavier items as part of delivery.
• Pushing – Pushing and pulling trays and dollys.
• Climbing – Occasional stairs or ladders for prices, maintenance, or delivery routes.
• Stooping/Bending – Occasional bending at the waist during assembly and stocking.
• Crouching/Squatting – Occasional stock and cleaning activities.
• Reaching – Frequent reaching, with occasional above-shoulder work and reaching down for tasks like cornmeal handling.
• Driving – Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; may complete multiple deliveries per shift.
• Hand Tasks – Continuous eye-hand coordination; frequent use of hands for dough shaping, cutting, and packaging.
• Machines/Equipment – Use of basic tools and devices such as calculators, keyboards, telephones, and pizza-related tools.

Driving Specific Job Duties

• Deliver product by car to customer doors; may deliver flyers and door hangers.

Requires

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
