Aesthetic Technician

Overview

Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting Developmental Technicians specializing in Refrigeration and HVAC Maintenance. If you have experience in this field, we want you to bring your skills to our fast-paced and welcoming environment. As a Developmental Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our stores, equipment, and fixtures.

Working under the guidance of the local Market Manager, you will follow established schedules and guidelines, performing inspections, cleaning, and repairs to keep everything running smoothly.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets utilizing multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment) and hand and power tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document reactive repair work orders for stores and store associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Maintenance of an excellent driving record.
• Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.

• Mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 – $28.00, with additional premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Compensation is based on factors such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
