Responsibilities
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Conduct thorough reviews of financial data, budget proposals, and expenditure requests.Develop and implement effective internal controls to maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.Assist with tax preparation and audits, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting procedures and improve operational efficiency.Provide financial advice and strategic planning support to senior management.Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Qualifications
