Classification Pay ScaleIn compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location.
Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.
Minimum: $28.00 Hourly
Maximum: $31.25 Hourly
The Clinical Affiliations Specialist is responsible for coordinating the development and execution of affiliations and related documents between the College and external partners as it relates to clinical rotations. Position incumbent will be relied upon to track all contracts, coordinate re-negotiations, process preceptor payments and provide operational support to the Senior Director of Operations.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with diverse units and personalities internally and externally.
- Demonstrated familiarity with basic contract language, terms, and clauses.
- Ability to provide high quality customer service; maintain professional communication with faculty, campus administrators and industry representatives by providing regular status updates.
- Well organized with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and know when to seek support from supervisor.
- Strong ability to use a variety of computer programs as needed including Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments with accuracy and consistency, with minimal supervision.
- Advanced Excel user with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
- Education:
BA/BS degree required. Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the position. - Experience:
2-4 years clerical office experience.
- Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, Legal Theory, or related field strongly preferred. - Experience:
2-4 years project coordination experience in a large, high volume office setting. - Prior experience with contract management highly preferred.
